We booked a trip for Jan '13 for our party of 9 (6 adults, 2 toddlers, 1 infant). When we booked our dining, some restaurants booked us at two tables to accomodate us all. We'd prefer to be at 1 table. Which restaurants can seat a party of 9 at 1 table?

Hi Andrea! I see this question a lot with guests coming with a larger party. I visited Walt Disney World for many years with about 16 in our family.  We actually had a lot of fun splitting up at tables for each meal. When restaurants have to split you they will have tables next to each other. Most places just can't accommodate a large table in their configuration so there are few available. Don't worry about splitting up and just choose restaurants where you feel all will enjoy the cuisine

One of the things we did to make dining more fun was to have name tags made. When we arrived at the restaurant and found out how many would be at each table we would have all draw from the pile. The first group drawn would be at the first table and the rest at the other table. Obviously infants would stay with mother or father but it still worked well with toddlers sharing meals with other members of the family or friends.

Stick with what you have booked.....each location will help you out as much as possible. Even for a party of 6 we often are told we might be split but they end up seating us together. Have fun with the mix and match game too!
