The holidays are an extra magical time of year to visit Disney World!
While this year’s last
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on December 22, 2026, there will still be lots of festivities happening around the resorts and parks. And that usually includes
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during regular park hours.
Although nothing has been announced yet, we can take a look at last year’s schedule to give us an idea of what might happen this year. In 2025, the Christmas parade was performed twice each day (at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM) beginning the day after the last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season through December 31. I’d keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar as your trip gets closer to see this year’s schedule.
In addition to the parade, Magic Kingdom also usually swaps out
Happily Ever After fireworks for
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks around the holiday, too. Last year, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks was shown nightly from the day after the last Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or the season through December 29. After that, Fantasy in the Sky fireworks took over to celebrate the New Year before Happily Ever After returned.
