I booked trip for the end of March 2010 with kids boy 7 & girl 3. I booked a room at Port orleans Riverside but recently changed to CBR. I read pros and cons for both. CBR seems more geared towards kids, Did I make the right choice? Which would you cho

Chris I honestly don't think you can go wrong at either resort. Yes they both have their pros and cons but they also both have their magic and pixie dust!

I love Port Orleans but I prefer the themeing for that resort and I also enjoy the idea of being only a boat ride away from Downtown Disney.  It makes me feel a little more accessible to some of the Disney fun.  However, many families are repeat guests at Caribbean Beach resort and love the newly refurbished pool.  They have also added pirate themed rooms to go along with the Nemo theme for the rest.  Both resorts have similar amenities and both are large so you might need to use the buses to get to the main buildings.  I think it is a purely personal preference to the theme more then anything else.  Stick with the Caribbean Beach and maybe on your next visit you can try something different such as the Port Orleans resort!
