Hello, I booked our trip for Disney World in late June and after speaking to family they expressed an interest in the dining plans. Can it be added to an already existing reservation? Thanks

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family and I really love the ease and convenience of the Disney Dining Plan, which is why we add it to our vacation package almost every time we travel to Walt Disney World Resort. There's something to be said for the peace of mind of having all of your meals taken care of in advance and only needing to tap your MagicBand when it comes time to settle the check.

I am pleased to tell you that if your family is considering adding the Disney Dining Plan to your pre-existing Resort Hotel reservation, you are more than welcome to do that. You can add one by contacting Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and a Cast Member will talk you through the Dining Plans and let you know what your new, updated balance will be. You'll need to choose between the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan, or the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, so have a look at the different versions and see what's best for your family. I really love the middle option, the Disney Dining Plan, because it includes credits for both Quick-Service and Table-Service meals so your family will get to try a variety of dining experiences!

Make sure you contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations as soon as possible because you are only able to add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package if there are more than 24 hours left before your arrival day.

    Have a magical day, Diva!
