    I booked a trip at Disney resort for 7 people. This is my extended family's 1st trip and I want to have a character dinner. I know my rooms are refundable, but if I book a character dinner, can I cancel it for a refund? We are not 100% positive about trip.

    Hi Christopher,

    Yes, your pre-purchased dining will be refundable if you follow the cancellation policy. Pre-paid locations include:
    Cinderella’s Royal Table
    Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
    Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
    Mickey’s Backyard BBQ

    Failure to cancel the above locations will result in no refund.

    Other character meals require a credit card guarantee. Your card will not be charged unless you do not adhere to the cancellation policy. Currently, Advance Dining Reservations must be cancelled the day prior to the reservation in order to not be subject to cancellation fees. Failure to cancel will result in a $10 per person fee.

    Just adhere to those policies and you'll be fine pre-planning your WDW trip!
