Hi Moms! We booked a trip to Disney in January to celebrate my graduation from medical school with my dad! We are all adults and are looking for a special way to celebrate after 8 years not traveling together. Any ideas?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Berenice! Bienvenida a planDisney, and thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question! It's always a pleasure getting to help my fellow Latin Americans plan their magical trips.

I'm so, so happy to hear that you booked a trip to Walt Disney World Resort with your dad, and I'm even more excited about the fact that you get to celebrate your graduation together. I take an annual birthday trip with my dad every September, and it's definitely something I look forward to every single year! You, my friend, came to the right person.

Berenice, I have recently celebrated my very own graduation at the Walt Disney World Resort as well, so I have a couple of recommendations and tips up my sleeve! First of all, I suggest that you book the incredible Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise, which will whisk you away to the iconic Seven Seas Lagoon for an out-of-this-world, VIP viewing of the nighttime spectacular Disney Enchantment. Plus, you get to eat as much dessert as you want! You'll be able to book this Enchanting Extra up to 60 days in advance of your trip by speaking to a Cast Member at (011) 5354-8119.

If you love the idea of watching the fireworks and eating dessert but you don't want to miss out on the magical vibe inside Magic Kingdom Park, you could always book one of the three different dessert parties that take place at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant in Tomorrowland. My personal favorite is the Disney Enchantment Treats & Seats party, because you'll get to watch the spectacular from your very own table. Just like the cruise, you'll be able to book any of these extras up to 60 days before your vacation!

Finally, I think that you should definitely consider booking a Capture Your Moment photography session in your favorite park. These tend to sell out pretty quickly (especially for Magic Kingdom Park!), so make sure to be on the lookout for new slots at 6:00 a.m. EST exactly 60 days before your trip. These sessions are currently priced at $99 dollars (price is subject to change), and you'll get a Disney PhotoPass photographer all to yourself for 20 minutes! I definitely recommend these sessions, because the photographers always go above and beyond to capture your best angles, get the best lighting, and visit your favorite locations. In addition to this, they will also bring props to commemorate the occasion! Please keep in mind, however, that you will need to purchase the Memory Maker Service in addition to the session in order to have access to unlimited downloads. Trust me when I say that it's 100% worth it!

I hope that you have a wonderful time celebrating your graduation with your dad, Berenice. Congratulations on reaching this incredibly important milestone! In the meantime, we'll be here if you have any other questions in English or in Spanish. See you real soon!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
