Have booked a trip to Disney for the end of May to early June '11. I proposed to my girlfriend at the end of the summer '10 but we couldn't go anywhere to celebrate since she is a teacher and in school. What are some romantic things we can do while in WDW?

    Hiya Adam!

    Congratulations on your engagement!

You could surprise your sweetie with one of the fabulous arrangements of flowers and gifts from DisneyFlorist.com. They have an In-Room Celebration called From Mickey & Minnie with Love where the Florist Dreamakers will have your Resort room fully decorated with romantic notions like candles, roses, a spa basket, chocolates and bath towels embroidered with your names.

Have a his & hers spa day at Disney's Grand Floridian Spa. They have Couple's Romantic Massage and even a Couple's Instructional Massage offered on the menu.

Book a private photo session with Disney photographer so that you always remember these days. I wish I had really great photos of me & my husband when we got engaged forever & a day ago!  The photographer is patient and will get great, natural shots of you in a gorgeous setting! These thirty minute sessions take place at Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge Resorts. Call 407-934-4004 to reserve a session.

You can go on a Horse Drawn Carriage Ride at Port Orleans Riverside Resort! Here is the info from the website:
Intimate horse-drawn carriage rides depart from Boatwrights Dining Hall for a 30-minute trip up and down the scenic Sassagoula River. Each carriage can hold either 4 adults—or 2 adults and 3 small children. The trip costs $45 USD per carriage.

I think Disney is one of the most Romantic places in the World...nothing beats Epcot's World Showcase in the evening when you have your loved one by your side...it's a beautiful feeling!
I hope you have a wonderful trip and a lifetime of happy memories together!
