Hi McKayla! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Your trip is right around the corner and I'm glad you're thinking ahead about the best way to enter the parks on the first day of your visit. The good news is you're ready to go with your admission ticket and theme park reservations. Now I'd suggest downloading the
Disneyland mobile app. It's a great planning tool with the complimentary
Disney Genie service, and it will serve as your admission ticket once you arrive.
I can walk you through how to go about accessing your ticket on the app. Once you've downloaded the app and have signed in, click the three-bar menu on the bottom right. Select the "Tickets and Passes" tile. You should see "Link Tickets and Passes" as an option. If you choose "Type ID," you can manually enter your ticket confirmation number. Alternatively, you can also enter your confirmation number on a desktop computer under "My Disneyland" and "Link Tickets." After you've entered the number on the desktop, the tickets should show up on your app under "Tickets and Passes."
That's also what you'll pull up when you're at the Main Entrance and ready to start your magical day! The Cast Member will simply scan your mobile device. In case Wi-Fi is slow, a screenshot of your e-ticket barcode is also a good idea.
Plus, you can use the app to
mobile order food, which is handy. I order our Quick Service meals while we're waiting in attraction lines, so our food is ready to go when we're hungry. It's also how you go about booking Lightning Lane Entrances if you purchase
Genie+. If it's not included with your tickets, you can purchase it using the app when you enter the parks. Both services help cut down on time in line, so it's a super convenient option.
Enjoy your visit!
Elizabeth
