We have booked a trip this coming Thanksgiving, i was told that there is a place on Main street for a "first haircut". my granddaughter is 2 1/2 at the time of trip and we are hoping this is true.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have heard right, there is a place in the Magic Kingdom where children and parents are able to celebrate a first hair cut! I can't imagine a better place to have this experience, what a magical memory it will be! The Harmony Barber Shop located in the Magic Kingdom offers the "My First Haircut" package which includes a special pair of Mickey Ears to mark the special occasion. As always, I recommend making a reservation for this experience as early as possible as these experiences are very popular and fill up quickly. To make you reservation, please call (407) WDW-PLAY.
