We had booked a trip to the Carribean Beach Resort pirate room but due to some changes to my employers vacation policy we needed to change our vacation dates. We will now be traveling to Coronado springs. Is this as nice as Carribean Beach? No pirate room.

    Hi Matthew --

I had the opportunity to stay at Coronado Springs for the first time last December, and I loved it!  The rooms have recently been remodeled.  They're absolutely gorgeous -- no pirate themed rooms, but still really nice.  The main pool is themed as a Mayan dig site, and there are several quiet pools as well.  Pepper Market is a great dining option.

This is a very large resort, so you may want to request a specific building based on what is most important to you.  You can do this by calling 10 days before your arrival.

    • Casitas 1 & Cabanas 9B -- are closest to the food area, main bus stop and front desk
    • Casitas 2,3,4 -- are closest to the Health Club & Beauty Salon
    • Casitas 5 & Ranchos 7A, 7B -- are closest to the Dig Site (main pool area)
    • Ranchos 6A, 6B - the furthest away from everything -- possibly the quietest

There are other bus stops located throughout the resort, and there is also an internal "shuttle" system for moving around the resort, itself.  Look for the marked golf carts that can transport guests within the resort.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
