Hi there, Alison! What an honor to welcome you to planDisney with your question!
Your trip to Disneyland Resort is approaching quickly! I'm sorry to hear one of your Guests will be unable to make the trip, but I think there are some options that may be helpful for you to consider. First, I recommend reviewing the
terms and conditions of your eTicket purchase, and I'll link them here for easy reference. Your ticket purchase should also list the date through which your
tickets will be valid for use. For example, a 1-Day ticket purchased today through the official Disneyland Resort website will be valid through December 30, 2024, while multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of their first use, or January 12, 2025 (whichever comes first). So, generally, you have a fairly long window of time to use your ticket, in case you want to save it for a future visit!
Alternatively, you can apply the price of a wholly unused ticket, even if it is expired, to a future ticket purchase of equal or greater value. I suggest
calling to speak with a Cast Member who can share more information about these options, or help you verify the dates of valid use of your original ticket purchase. While tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred for commercial purposes, the Cast Members may be able to help you determine if you can reassign the ticket to another friend or family member in your group, so don't hesitate to ask them about this process.
I hope these are some helpful recommendations, Alison. Most of all, I hope you have an enchanting visit to Disneyland Resort, full of the magical, lifelong memories that make Disney vacations so special! Please feel welcome to
reach out again if we can be of further support to you.
Wishing you
Wondrous Journeys,
