Hello. I just booked a trip at the Boardwalk villas. I am wondering if we should change to the Beach Club for my sons ages 11 and 7? We havent' stayed in the Epcot Resort area before and we would like to enjoy the restaurants on the boardwalk. Help PLS!

Hey Brian! I might be a bit biased, because Disney's Beach Club is one of my favorite resorts (it's impossible for me to pick just one favorite!). It is definitely my favorite pool of all the Disney resorts. Stormalong Bay actually has a sand bottom and is simply amazing. There are little "sinking sands" areas, a whirlpool area (that actually sweeps you up in the current, not like a hot tub!), two hot tubs and a huge pirate ship themed water slide and two smaller water slides too. I could spend all day in there I think! If your boys are pool fans, they probably could too. I love the relaxed atmosphere at Beach Club too, as well as the restaurants, including Beaches & Cream which has amazing burgers and ice cream. Of course it's also within walking distance of Epcot and there is a boat or walking path to Disney's Hollywood Studios, just like Boardwalk.

The pool area at the Boardwalk resort is great too, as are the restaurants. You can always enjoy the restaurants at either resort no matter which you stay at, and the rooms will be lovely in each resort. So really, it comes down to that pool experience and the resort themeing. If you feel like your boys would get more out of Stormalong Bay, I'd make the switch. If they are not that into pools, I think you'll have an amazing experience at either Epcot Resort as they are both full of great amenities and close to the parks.

Happy planning and enjoy your vacation!
