just booked 8/19-21 trip for DH and me for his bday. spending 20th @ EPCOT (his favorite park) & ADR at biergarten. Any ideas/tips on how to manage surprising him until we get to airport or to MCO? Staying at asmovies preferred room-how to get king

    Hi Sarah,

What a great idea to surprise your husband with a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. First, I might just have his bags packed and ready to roll on August 19. If he normally works on a Friday and you are taking a morning flight out, you might enlist the help of his boss to arrange the time off. You can then have a card ready for him at breakfast saying - Are you ready for an adventure?

From here you will need to drive to the airport which will be a pretty big surprise. You could have his ticket in a package to unwrap and maybe use a quote from his favorite character to welcome him to the Walt Disney World Resorts. For example, Mickey saying "Are you neat and pretty?" Peter Pan saying "We're off to Neverland!" or the White Rabbit saying "Your late!" There are so many ways to get creative.

Now if you think you can make it to Orlando without him guessing, I would be impressed because in my house Orlando means Disney.

Remember to mention it is his birthday for some pixie dust:)

    Have a magical birthday!
