Hi Roshanda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! And YAY for booking your upcoming
MAGICal adventure at sea! I love booking last-minute Disney Cruise Line vacations because it just makes the trip come that much sooner!
Along with the advantages of a shorter countdown there is the slight disadvantage of going in to complete your Online Check-In and book your onboard activities and seeing that many of them are already booked or unavailable. But, don’t let that get you discouraged! Check back on you
“My Cruise Activities” page..and check back often! Guests often will change their plans and once they cancel an activity, it goes directly back into the system for another Guest to reserve. So, I do recommend checking it often and grabbing anything that comes available. Guests can change or cancel activities up to three days prior to sailing without penalty, so I think its always a good idea to check right at that three- or four-day mark to see what may be available. Additionally, if you are unable to secure some of the onboard activities that you were hoping, check once onboard for availability. I recommend making Guest Services one of your first destinations once you get onboard to inquire about availability for any activities that you may not have been able to secure a spot for. The same goes for any Port Adventures or adult-exclusive dining reservations you are looking for. In fact, there will likely be a dedicated time and place for Guests to go on embarkation day to inquire about Palo dinner and brunch reservations. Be sure to check your Personal Navigator for the time and location onboard.
As you continue planning, please come back with any other questions you have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
