Hi Molly, welcome to planDisney!
Thanks so much for visiting us, I'm happy to help!
When the
Disneyland Resort re-opened, a
theme park reservation system was implemented, requiring Guests to have both a theme park reservation and a valid
theme park ticket to enter the parks.
If you purchased your tickets directly through the Disneyland Resort website, then you are all set to go! You would have selected the day you want to visit as part of your ticket purchasing process, and a reservation would have been booked automatically.
However, if you purchased your tickets through a third-party retailer, then you need to book a reservation yourself. I can walk you through the process! First, you need to add your tickets to your Disneyland Resort account. I always found this to be the easiest through the
Disneyland Mobile App. Once you download the Mobile App, open it up, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, select "Tickets and Passes", and then select "Link Tickets & Passes". Next you scan the barcode of your ticket that you would like to link. Once your ticket is linked, head on over to the Disneyland Resort website, select the "My Disneyland" link, click the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link, and then select "Make Park Reservations".
You're going to have the best time on your trip! So many amazing experiences have returned to the Disneyland Resort! The traditional character meet and greets are back, which means Mickey and all his Pals are ready to give out the best hugs and sign your autograph books. And many of the fantastic nighttime experiences are back as well! The Main Street Electrical Parade, Disneyland Forever fireworks, World of Color, and my personal favorite, Fantasmic! have all returned!
See ya real soon!
