I booked our tickets & Fast Passes on my phone with the app. My phone has a terrible battery life so if it dies, how do I show my fast pass?

    Hi Rebecca,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have such a great question.

The great thing about My Disney Experience is that your plans are all set upon arrival.  If your FastPass+ selections have already been made; all you need to do is arrive at the proper time with either your MagicBand or your park ticket and voila! Technology does the rest for you.  You actually don't need your smartphone for your FastPasses unless you're like me and always forget when you're supposed to be at a specific ride at a certain time.  I'd actually suggest that you print out your itinerary just in case something awful happens, such as losing your phone.

Now, if your phone has terrible battery life, Disney has the perfect answer. I've been using this since it arrived on site and it's a real game-changer for my husband and me.  FuelRod has kiosks located throughout the Disney Parks and they have been a real life saver.  You purchase one of their kits for $30; it includes a FuelRod, a short charging cable, and enough adapters to charge both Android devices and iPhones.  When you arrive at the park or when your FuelRod is out of juice, you find a kiosk on My Disney Experience, tap the Swap button on the screen, insert your used FuelRod into the machine and out pops a fully charged FuelRod.  You pay once and use it forever-no kidding.  Once you're home, you can charge it using a regular charging block and a micro USB cable.

Rebecca, have a fantastic vacation and come back and visit us again with any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
