I have booked my tickets for the Disney Parks, and wondering when I get the reference number? By this I mean the number you type in on 'My Disney Experience' to start looking at the planning page ETC. Will they come in time? As I want to buy Magic Bands

    Hello Martin,

You should have gotten your confirmation number when you purchased your tickets. When I've purchased tickets online, I have immediately gotten a 12-character confirmation code. Mine codes have started with the letters ERIR, followed by eight numbers. This is the information you need to input into My Disney Experience to start the FastPass+ reservation process. Take a look at your ticket receipt to see if you have a code that looks like this.

If not, you should call Disney directly at 407-W-DISNEY. They will be able to look up your purchase and tell you the confirmation code over the phone.

If you're staying at Disney resort hotel, MagicBands are included as part of your resort package. There is nothing extra to purchase. If you're staying off site, you can buy MagicBands when you get to Walt Disney World. Bands are sold at most of the larger shops in the parks and resorts. Cast members at Walt Disney World can link your tickets to your bands in just a few minutes. Prices can change, but currently the basic version of the Bands costs $12.95 plus tax.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need additional help.
