Mouske hey, mouske hi, mouske ho, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney! When it comes to your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I can tell
you're a thinking and a solving working through. Valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a
method of entry are currently required for theme park entry. It sounds like you've got the first two covered, so let's go over the three methods of entry: MagicBand, admission card, and Disney MagicMobile pass.
MagicBands can be
ordered online or purchased upon arrival for more variety, they just have to be
linked to your My Disney Experience account before park entry. This magical accessory, worn like a watch, connects the vacation entitlements housed in your My Disney Experience account with touchpoints at park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, Disney PhotoPass photographer stations, and more.
MagicBand+ is set to debut this summer, which promises to connect Guests in new ways to the magic of the
50th Anniversary Celebration. I'm keeping my eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates for my summer trip.
Using the
Disney MagicMobile service on your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you can download a Disney MagicMobile pass to the digital wallet of eligible iPhones, Apple Watches, or Google Pay enabled Android phones. If you manage the My Disney Experience profiles of others, you can download multiple passes to your device.
Admission cards, which are the size of a credit card, can be obtained at
Guest Relations and ticket windows located outside of the theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Be prepared to show your confirmation number, the credit card used for purchase, and the credit card holder's photo ID. The admission cards from my family's most recent trip feature
Fab 50 character statues and are great souvenEARS.
When it comes to my family's method of entry preferences, I enjoy wearing a MagicBand, my kids prefer whatever mommy can hold for them (I most often link their MagicBands to the outside of my backpack) and my husband prefers to use a Disney MagicMobile pass on his Apple Watch. However you choose to access the magic on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, be sure to take in those first moments in the parks: the sights, the sounds, and even the smells.
I appreciate you reaching out to planDisney with your thoughtful question, Jessica. We're hEAR for you anytime!
Toodles,
Jennifer
