Hello, Amogh!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with your very important planning question. It looks like you are doing the single-digit countdown dance today. In just a few days, you will be able to enjoy the
50th Anniversary Celebration of the Walt Disney World Resort. There have been so many new experiences created just for the celebration. My favorite is
Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection! There are 50 golden sculptures on display across all 4 theme parks that pay tribute to the favorite and popular Disney Characters. This sounds like the perfect opportunity for a family scavenger hunt to find them all.
Since the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, all Guests are required for entry into a theme park, to have a valid theme park ticket and a
Park Pass reservation. All parks are operating at a limited capacity to ensure the health and safety of all Guests and Cast Members. I am so sorry to hear that in the excitement of planning a fabulous trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, making a Park Pass reservation was overlooked. I would not recommend waiting until you arrive to visit a kiosk as there are no reservations held in reserve.
Do not give up hope! If you have the
Park Hopper Option added to your tickets, I recommend that you make Park Pass Reservations for any parks that currently have availability. This would allow you to visit a second park after 2:00 PM, provided that you have visited your reserved park. If you do not have the Park Hopper Option, you can still upgrade your tickets to include it for everyone.
I would also advise you to check
My Disney Experience regularly for availability. Guests change their plans all the time for various reasons, and they end up canceling their current Park Pass Reservations too. When a Guest cancels their reservation, they immediately become available for another Guest to reserve. I encourage you to keep trying because spots could open up before you arrive.
I know this is not the magical advice you were looking for, but with a little faith, trust, and Pixie Dust, hopefully everything will work out.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
