I have booked for a three night cruise in september , but have very little information about the cruise and costs, do we need to pay for food and drink on board and is there an additional charge to get off at the destinations?

    Hi, Petrina!

Congratulations on booking your Disney cruise! You are going to enjoy a vacation like no other....including worry-free dining experiences. One of the best aspects of dining aboard a Disney ship is that most of your food and beverage options are included in the price of your cruise -- with the exception of alcohol, specialty drinks (in keepsake containers), most any bar items and pre-packaged snacks at the movie theater. My predecessor, Karen, has a great answer to a previous question from a guest about this subject, and she offers some tips and hints, too. (Click on her name above to see what she had to say!)

As far as the ports of call, there is no charge to embark/disembark -- although you'll want to have your cruise credentials for each guest with you at all times (passport and Key to the World card). There are many Port Adventures (shore excursions) to explore with varying levels of activity, times and prices -- which give you peace of mind knowing that they are coordinated by or through Disney Cruise Line for hassle-free, safe and convenient touring. You can click on the link above to discover which ones are available for your specific cruise and the details and cost associated with each. You can even make reservations for Port Adventures online!

I hope this helps you plan. Have a beautiful day and a magical vacation! Bon voyage!
