I have booked a theme park room at the Grand Floridian? Which building should we request? Sago seems closer to the main building (convenient to monorail and restaurants) but Conch Key seems closer to the boat. Do they both have equally great castle views?

Hi, Krystal!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hear that you will be staying at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa during your upcoming trip!  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is such a gorgeous place to stay.  There are many locations around this resort hotel's property that have a breathtaking view of Cinderella Castle.  I think it is wonderful that you have booked a room with a theme park view.  I cannot think of anything more magical than waking up to that view every morning of your vacation.

I had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa a few months ago.  This resort hotel seems much less spread out than some of the other Walt Disney World resort hotels that I have stayed in.  In my opinion, none of the buildings are a particularly long distance from dining and transportation.  I would recommend that you call the Resort Reservations Line to discuss any room requests you might have with a friendly Cast Member.  While Cast Members cannot guarantee any room requests, they will certainly try their best to honor them.  I am sure that no matter which building you end up in, your stay will be practically perfect in every way.

    Have a magical day!
