Booked Terrace Dessert Party in July for my daughters 12th bday. If wishes is at 9pm and my reservation is at 9pm, will we be seated in time to view the fireworks? And how is the seating? Fireworks viewing main reason I booked it. Thank you.

    Hi Melissa,

The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is an awesome way to celebrate a birthday!  You can kick back with one of the best views of the fireworks inside the Magic Kingdom (MK) & enjoy some incredible desserts while you're waiting for Wishes.

The party begins one hour prior to the start of the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular on the Tomorrowland Terrace.  For example, if Wishes is scheduled for 9 p.m. on the night you are attending, seating should begin at 8 p.m.  I'd plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to that to get checked in.

You will be escorted to a table reserved for your party.  None of the tables are set up right next to the outer wall facing Cinderella Castle.  However, once the fireworks began we were free to stand near the outer wall if we wanted so don't panic if your table isn't on the outer row of tables. We actually had an awesome view right from our table.

The desserts are de-lish! You get to try as many as you want so eat an early dinner & come hungry. There was also a nice assortment of beverages (juices, coffee, milk). They break down the buffet when the fireworks begin so be sure to get all you want before settling in for an incredible view of Wishes. Tinker Bell flies right towards you & goes over your head for her landing.

There will be a PhotoPass Photographer on hand that will take some great pics of your family with Cinderella Castle in the background. Our party ranged in ages 4 - 71 & we all loved it.

I also loved (especially with kids) that there is a restroom nearby.

While you may not do the dessert party every time you visit, it is certainly well worth doing it at least once.  You're going to love it!

Wishing your daughter many magical birthday memories :-)  Allison
