Booked a surprise trip for our boys, so we can't ask them ideas- ages 7 & 9. We will have a 3 day park hopper pass. What order should we hit the parks/activities? Being boys, they are not into Disney Characters, so any must-do activities for boys?

Hi Dalaina - Even if your boys aren't too into characters, they will still enjoy all of the theme parks!  My guess is that they'll like Disney's Hollywood Studios the best, because that's where they find the best thrill rides as well as the Star Wars attraction and merchandise.

For a three day trip, I'd probably start out at Hollywood Studios.  Arrive early to make sure you see everything.  Start your day at Toy Story Mania, which can get extremely crowded as the day goes on.  If they like thrill rides, the Tower of Terror and the Rock N Roller Coaster are must-dos.

Animal Kingdom can be skipped if you don't have the time.  Otherwise, arrive early because it generally closes early.  My kids like the Kilimanjaro Safari, Dinosaur, and the Finding Nemo show.  If your children like animals, there are lots of walking trails to explore too.

Epcot could be done in the afternoon on the day you visit Animal Kingdom.  Depending on your boys' interests, you could spend quite a bit of time in Future World or the World Showcase.

On the last day, I'd visit the Magic Kingdom.  Head to Frontierland and Adventureland for Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain.  Space Mountain in Tomorrowland is also a fun ride for kids (as long as they enjoy roller coasters).  If your kids aren't interested beyond that, you can always visit another park for the rest of the afternoon.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
