Booked 8/18-8/24 and staying on WDW resort. How are the crowds in comparison to Christmas to New Years (this is when we usually go ... and it is BUSY!) We have not gone in the summer before and heard that this time of year is slightly better??? Thanks!

    Hello Jana!

I think you have picked a wonderful time to visit WDW. You should find the crowds to be a lot more manageable than what you are used to experiencing during the Christmas season when you usually visit.

Many schools have started back up for the year or are just about to so that alone will make the crowds lower than times when schools are on break. The weather will be warmer and more humid than what you're used to in December, but if you break your day up by visiting the air conditioned attractions or swimming at your resort, you should be just fine.

Have a wonderful vacation! It'll be here before you know it!
