Hi Mark!
So glad you have a
Disney Magic at Sea sailing in a few weeks. I’ll bet you and your family are counting down the days until your 4-Night UK Staycation Sailing from Southampton.
The
Disney Magic at Sea Experience Updates page has some very useful information about making reservations for premium activities before you set sail. As you know, reservations for premium activities like adult-exclusive dining, beverage tastings, and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can be made
online or through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
I’m sorry that you were unable to reserve the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience for your two girls. My guess is that these reservations were initially in limited supply, and other Guests already grabbed all the currently available slots. But don’t give up! Disney Cruise Line says that new inventory may become available at any time, so keep checking leading up to your cruise. I would also check with Guest Services as soon as you board to see if any openings have been released or cancellations made.
As for the Youth Clubs, specific session times are reserved in advance and based on availability. Guests can book one session per day on a first-come, first-served basis. The Embarkation Day session can be 1 ½ hours and 2 ½ hours during days at sea. Even if you haven’t been able to reserve anything just yet, Disney Cruise Line has said that times may become available during your voyage. You would book their sessions once onboard the ship using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From what I’ve seen and heard, there have been plenty of opportunities for kids to have this added even if they didn’t have a prior reservation. So that’s definitely good news!
An idea to replace or supplement the Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique is the
Royal Court Royal Tea. For the Disney Magic at Sea itineraries, it is available only on sailings that last 3 or 4 nights. The Royal Court Royal Tea is tailor-made for princes and princesses from ages 3-12 and features herbal teas and both a savory and sweet course. Expect stories, dancing, singing, and lots of smiles. Plus, kids receive a special assortment of gifts and a visit from some of their favorite princess friends from a safe distance. To book a seat at the royal table, go to "My Cruise Activities" online. If it's filled up, talk to one of the Cast Members at
Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) as soon as you arrive onboard.
Hopefully you’ll be able to make these reservations happen for your daughters on your MAGICal sailing!
Bon Voyage!
