We are booked to stay in a Woods view room. We ideally want Top Floor. We have a little boy who has issues with his legs. Therefore, important for us to have a location close to a bus stop & pool/restaurants. What Building suits?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Georgina. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this summer! My family loves to visit in the summer months because we enjoy the uniquely themed Disney Resort hotel pools and the you-may-get-wet attractions. So fun!

It sounds like you'll be a Guest of the Disney Resorts Collection. That's great! As a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling, even after you've left the theme parks! I understand you have a "Woods View," which narrows it down for me, but I'm still not entirely sure which Disney Resort hotel you'll be enjoying for your stay. If you'd like to submit another question with more specific information about your Disney Resort hotel, we'll happily answer it!

What I can tell you without knowing where you'll be staying is that when you use the Online Check-In service, you can usually make requests relating to floor preference and proximity to things like the bus stop. While not all requests can be honored, I've experienced pretty good luck having basic requests like those met with an ideal room for my family's needs.

It sounds like your little guy may benefit from using a stroller. My daughter doesn't use a stroller at home anymore, but she still does at the Walt Disney World Resort! All those pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks require a lot of walking, and her legs tire quickly. You may bring a stroller, but strollers are also available to rent at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Another option is to rent a stroller from ScooterBug, Disney's featured provider. The nice thing about this option is that you can keep it with you for the length of your stay. That means you can have it on hand with you on your way to and from the theme parks!

I hope this was helpful, Georgina. Please let us know if you have any other questions! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
