Hi Amanda!
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question! You'll love your stay at the
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. The Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve are among my favorite property locations, offering unbeatable proximity to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. I recently stayed at the Dolphin and loved being just a short stroll away from the magic, with the
Disney BoardWalk right outside my door for evening entertainment and excellent dining options.
I'd be happy to help you link your reservation to your
My Disney Experience app so you can book Lightning Lane selections for your entire stay (up to seven days before check-in). Since you booked through a third-party company, your confirmation number might not automatically link to your Disney account. The first step is to find your hotel confirmation number. Sometimes, this number differs from the one provided by the third party, so if it doesn't work, I recommend contacting the Swan Hotel directly for the Disney-specific confirmation. Once you have it, open the My Disney Experience app and navigate to "My Visit" by clicking the menu icon (three horizontal lines). From there, click on "Hotel Reservations." If you don't have any reservations currently, you should see "Link a Reservation" or "Link to Account." After selecting the option available to you, enter the confirmation number provided to you by the Swan. Once it's successfully linked, you should see your stay reflected in your account, and you'll be all set to book
Lightning Lane selections for your entire trip, starting seven days before check-in.
Since you'll be staying at the Swan, let me share some of
my favorite dining spots outside the theme parks. Grounds is a great grab-and-go option for breakfast and coffee with pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I highly recommend Splash Pool Bar & Grill for lunch if you're looking for a relaxed poolside meal. If you're craving Mexican cuisine, Rosa Mexicano at the Dolphin serves delicious dishes, margaritas, and fresh guacamole.
Since you're so close to Disney's BoardWalk, you've got even more fantastic dining options just a short walk away. One of my favorites is
Ale & Compass at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, a cozy spot with fantastic New England-inspired dishes.
Crew's Cup Lounge is a great place to grab a drink in a relaxed setting if you want to unwind with a cocktail. And I can't forget about
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, where you can step back in time and indulge in some of the best sundaes on property (definitely consider the famous Kitchen Sink if you're up for a challenge). Over at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, I love grabbing a slice from the
Pizza Window, and I'm eagerly awaiting my next trip to try some of the sweet treats from
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers.
I hope this helps, Amanda! If you have any more questions as your trip approaches,
contact me at planDisney.
Cheers,
Brent
