I booked a stay at WDW Saratoga resorts with my reletives dvc points. How do i know on the My Disney Experience app whether they booked me a standard room or a preferred room? It is a one bedroom villa

    Hiya, Brandon!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney.  It sounds like you have some pretty amazing relatives –– how cool that they're lending you a few Disney Vacation Club Vacation Points for your upcoming visit!  Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa just happens to be my DVC Home Resort and I think you're going to love it.  Because of its size, the Resort always feels so peaceful (which can be a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Walt Disney World theme parks), but with its close proximity to Disney Springs, you'll never have trouble finding something to do.  All the Resort's rooms were just updated, too. So, even if you've stayed at Saratoga Springs in the past, it's almost like you'll be coming home to a whole new Resort!

I'm sorry that you're not seeing your room type on the My Disney Experience mobile app, but it's not too tough to find (once you know where to look).  Here's what you'll need to do to locate your reservation info:

    1. Make sure that you've downloaded the latest version of the My Disney Experience app and sign in using your Disney Account.
    2. Tap the three lines at the bottom of the screen and select "Future Plans" from the menu.
    3. On the next page, you should see your upcoming Resort reservation.  Under "Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa", tap "View Room Details" (it should be in blue).
    4. As you scroll down the page, you'll find a box that says "Check Back for Room Number", along with several blue icons. Underneath that, you should spy the details for the room type that was booked and your confirmation number.

If you haven't already done so, you'll also have a perfect opportunity to complete the online check-in process while you're in the section of the app.  If you click the white arrow at the top of the page to go back one screen, you'll see the option to complete or update your online check-in under your Resort reservation.  Not only can you make room requests and add a payment method to your account, but you'll also be able to take advantage of Disney's Direct-to-Room service at the Resort.  That means you won't need to stop at the Front Desk when you arrive at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa –– you'll receive a text letting you know when your room is ready and you'll be able to unlock your room right from your phone or MagicBand.  It's easy and convenient –– the way a great vacation should be!

Thanks for visiting planDisney, Brandon.  If you think of more planning questions as your trip gets closer, I hope you'll stop by again –– we're always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
