Hi! Just booked stay at POR for 9 days. My daughter and I and 3 others. One of the people we are going with is deaf. We have booked the hearing “accessible” preferred room. What building #s have the preferred rooms for hearing impaired? Just curious.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emilia! What a wonderful family and friends vacation you have coming up! Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a wonderful, sprawling Resort with tons of recreation to experience.

When you get the magical text or email that your room is ready (courtesy of Online Resort Check-in), you’ll most likely end up in the preferred buildings, which are 14, 15, 18, and 27. The accessible rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside are scattered throughout the property so that guests can have the experience they are looking for. Whether it’s walking near the Sassagoula River or being steps from Old Man Island, Riverside is a magical place with plenty to see and do. Be sure to visit the concierge to book a Horse and Carriage ride along the river. It’s beautiful, serene, and a wonderful way to kick off a bonding experience with your girls!

If I can help you find more activities either at your Resort or throughout Walt Disney World Resort, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
