I have booked a stay in July and was going to purchase Annual Passes as well for my family and I. Would I be eligible for the 6 months financing for my resort stay if I purchased annual passes with the stay and not just regular “park pass”?

    Hiya Patrick,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you and your family are thinking of becoming Annual Passholders! I’ve been a Passholder for years, and I love it. Now that we live in Florida, having our Annual Passes lets us visit as much as we want, and if you ask my three-year-old, that’s the very best thing ever!

That said, although as a Passholder you will have access to exclusive Passholder resort hotel deals, I do understand wanting to take advantage of the special offer from the Disney Visa by Chase. As you mentioned, cardmembers who use their cards to book select Vacation Packages (with a minimum one-night stay and theme park tickets) can get 0% promotional APR financing for 6 months on their package. As an Annual Passholder, you can book ticketless Vacation Packages (with or without a dining plan), but I’m not 100% sure whether those qualify for this promotional deal. I reached out to a Cast Member, and they said there are two options: the first is that you can reserve a traditional Vacation Package with theme park tickets, and once you arrive for your vacation, you can apply the value of your theme park tickets toward an Annual Pass. You can do this upgrade in person for eligible tickets at the Ticket Center at Disney Springs, Guest Services at any of the theme parks, or at any ticket counter, as long as your tickets still have remaining days (the tickets must be partially or completely unused). If you don’t want to do this, the next right thing is to reach out to Chase directly and ask about the specific limitations of the offer. You may be able to purchase your Annual Passes in advance, then book a ticketless Vacation Package, and still apply the deal. However, there are no guarantees, and this would have to be permissible by Chase.

I hope this was helpful, Patrick. Before I let you go, don’t forget to check out the Passholder Buzz section on the My Disney Experience mobile app! There are always so many incredible perks, offerings, and discounts for Annual Passholders that you don’t want to miss out on. The Passholder Buzz section lays them out really easily and helps you make sure you are fully taking advantage of everything available to you. Also, Patrick, if you need anything else, please come back and see us. We would be happy to help you plan your upcoming vacation!

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
