Hello just booked my stay at the Grand Floridian. I've never stayed their before what can I expect? Is it a quiet resort with not much going on or what? Thanks!

    Hello, Kim,

Congratulations on making a reservation at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which is so lovely and such a treat to visit. When staying at the resort, if you have booked a room in the main building, you may find that those rooms aren't as quiet because they overlook all the activity that is happening in the lobby, and in the evenings there is live music played (which is a true treat!). In fact, I really enjoy sitting in the lobby as there is always something happening and something to see.  You may even see a few wedding parties taking pictures!

The outer buildings, I have found, are more quiet, especially if you aren't looking out onto the pool. When we've stayed in them, the only sound I ever noticed were the horns on the boats.  Aside from that, I found the outer buildings quite quiet and calm.  When I wanted a little more energy, I just had to walk over to one of the pools or the main building.  The resort really captures the best of both worlds.
