We booked our stay at the Grand Californian for October this year, when can we complete our park reservations?

    Hi Loren!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh, you're going to love Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa during the Halloween holiday time. Technically there is usually some sort of spooky-cool display somewhere in the lobby of each of Disneyland Resort's three Hotels, but the unique feature of the Grand Californian's display is that it's usually all edible. While Guests can't eat the display, there's usually a booth nearby selling single cookies, drinks, and cookie shots (shot glasses made out of cookies) should the display make you snacky.

Park Pass Reservations can be made starting 120 days in advance of each Disney Day. You can choose to log in to your My Disneyland Account or Disneyland Mobile App and make those reservations one at a time, or you can wait until your last park day is within that 120-day range. I'm looking at the Park Pass Reservation Calendar and it shows that the total of your visit to Mickey's house is almost within the booking range, so feel free to start making your park reservations now or to wait a few more days. Park Pass Reservations usually don't fill up completely until maybe a month before, and even then Mickey and Tinker Bell have been known to spread their pixie dust to reopen some dates that were previously closed.

Bonus Tip: Guests of a Disneyland Resort Hotel have access to a special pot of Park Pass Reservations to ensure that they can still soak up the magic. So should something come up and you need to move your dates around a bit, you'll be fine.

I'm so excited for your Halloween time visit to Disneyland Resort, Loren! Be sure to double-check your reservation days against the schedule of the Oogie Boogie Bash as Disney California Adventure Park will close early to guests who don't hold tickets for that event. And be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog across all of your social media channels so you don't miss out on any haunted announcements, like the Seasonal Foodie Guide! (hEARs a link to last yEARs!)

Thank you again so much for stopping by planDisney with your great question, Loren! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
