Hi, we have booked to stay at Disney for next summer 2020. We are all very excited, there's a specific building and floor we would like to request. What is the best way to do this please? We are in the UK, so calling a US number isn't ideal. Thanks

    Hi Andrew!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I can understand how excited you are for your holiday to Walt Disney World next Summer.  I am excited for you!  I hope you were able to take advantage of the free dining offer for 2020.  It is always worth requesting a room location if there is something you would prefer - I have done this many times, with much success.  No requests can be guaranteed, but they will do all they can to honour your request.  If you booked your holiday with the Walt Disney Travel Company UK, call them on freephone UK number 0800 028 0778, have your confirmation number handy and ask them to add a request to your room booking.  If you made the reservation with another UK Tour Operator, you will probably have to contact your Disney Resort hotel direct. You will find the address and phone number for every Disney Resort hotel on the Resort Hotels list.  These are US telephone numbers, but in my past experience the calls I have made to request a specific room location have been fairly brief.  I have also actually written to the hotel - the old-fashioned way, with an envelope and a stamp!! - to ensure my request has been seen.  I would aim for your requests to be received by the hotel between 5-10 days prior to your arrival (no earlier, no later), unless you are calling the Walt Disney Travel Company UK, in which case you can do so as early as you wish.

Remember the important dates for your holiday planning - dining reservations can be made up to 180 days ahead of your visit, online, or by using My Disney Experience, and your FastPass+ reservations can be made 60 days in advance, also by using My Disney Experience.  Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news, and updates on events that may be happening during your visit.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
