Just booked my stay at Caribbean Beach Resort for the week of July 16th and I'm worried about planned group activities with the construction for my 9 year old daughter. What is there to do when not swimming or at the parks for her?

Hi, Joely! Welcome to the Disney  Parks Moms Panel!

Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels, and I am so excited that Fairy Godmother picked it to get a magical makeover! Have you heard that it has been confirmed that this Disney Resort hotel will be a part of brand new transportation called Disney Skyliner? Although it won’t be operational for your visit in July, it is something to look forward to on your next Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!

When you check-in to your Disney Resort hotel, you will receive a Recreation Guide. There are also a few unofficial websites out there that tend to post them and by searching “Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Recreation Guide” into your favorite Search Engine, I am sure you will find the schedule. It seems that in July, there are Party Games, Sports Games, Jammin’ Pool Party Bash, Dance Parties, Relay Races, Trivia Challenges, Movies Under The Stars, Campfires and more! Your daughter has so many fun activities to choose from! There are also a few activities with a small fee, such as Mickey Tie-Dye and Arts & Crafts in which she can partake. If ever you are at a loss of what to do (which as you can see, you shouldn’t be), you can always venture to Disney Springs as there is often free entertainment, or head to Disney’s Boardwalk for a number of other entertainment and dining options.

Have a magical time and please come and visit us again soon!
