I have booked to stay AoA with Dining for 14 nights in Oct 15 2 adults 2 girls (6&4) I was wondering if it would be worth changing to a MK resort for 2nd wk to benefit more amenities and close proximity to MK were we will spend a lot of time in wk 2

    Hi Melissa!

While I do love Art of Animation (I just booked a Little Mermaid room yesterday for spring break), splitting your resort stay is an excellent idea.  My family loves the Magic Kingdom, so being able to hop on a monorail or a ferry boat to our favorite park is well worth the upgrade for us.  The deluxe resorts do offer more amenities and activities, so if your budget allows, I say go for it.  The tough decision is which resort to choose!  Sit down with your girls and show them each of the Magic Kingdom area resorts and let them choose which one they would love the most.  You  can't go wrong with any of them.

Transferring your luggage from one resort to another is simple.  Leave your bags with Bell Services at your first resort and they will give you a claim ticket.  Your bags will arrive at your new resort by the end of the day.  This service is complimentary and is a great perk of being a Walt Disney World guest.  Just be sure to bring with you what you will need for the day.

    Have a magical day!
