Thien from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I booked my stay already at DW, bought the tickets already, how do I reserve the park?

    Hey there, Thien!

Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney! It's exciting to see you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation coming up. I'm sure you're already imagining all the magic and all the cherished moments. I always appreciate the opportunity to help plan those moments by sharing my own Disney vacation experiences along with the tips and ideas I've gathered over the years as a Disney Guest.

I want to pause for a moment and applaud your planning so far:
You can easily make your Walt Disney World Resort theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. Simply go to the Disney Park Pass system on the Walt Disney World Resort website and click the link for "Make a Park Reservation." If you're not already signed in to your Disney account, you'll be prompted to sign in.

First, you'll be prompted to "Create Your Party" and choose who else from your vacation group will be visiting the theme parks with you.   Next you'll be prompted to choose a date from the interactive calendar and then select one of the the parks. If there are Disney Park Passes available for your desired date and theme park, you'll be prompted to review and confirm your selection. It's that simple! Once you have made your selections and confirmed your reservations, your reservations will display in the "My Plans" area of your My Disney Experience account.

If you encounter the situation where there are no Disney Park Passes available when you're making your selections, you'll be alerted.

You can always review the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before you make your theme park reservations. This is a good idea to help make sure that the theme park you want to visit has availability on the day you want to visit.

I'll also share that you can make theme park reservations on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Simply follow the prompts currently showing on the app's home screen.

Thien, I hope this helps you with your planning and gives you the info you need to make your theme park reservations.

If you have more questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please be sure to ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
