Ahoy, Karla! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your Disney Cruise Line question.
If you booked both staterooms together, then they should already be linked without you having to do anything. However, I know that you want to ensure smooth sailing on embarkation day, so let me explain how to verify that your staterooms are linked and how to link them just in case you find out that they are not.
Start by going to the main
Disney Cruise Line website and clicking on the tab at the top right labeled “Already Booked,” you can then click on the option labeled “My Reservations” under “My Disney Cruise.” It will prompt you to login to your account and once you login there will be a page that shows your upcoming cruise and a drop-down box on the right hand side that lists your reservation number. If you click on the reservation number, it should open up other reservations and you should see your upcoming cruise description with both of the staterooms listed below. However, if you only see your stateroom listed, then you need to click on the blue link at the bottom of that drop-down box that says “Add and Link Reservations.” That will open up a new page where you can add the other stateroom’s information to link your entire sailing party together. To link the second stateroom, you will need the booking confirmation number and both the last name and date of birth for the primary guest staying in that stateroom. Since the second stateroom is under your nanny’s name it probably isn’t a concern, but be aware that connecting reservations does share all of the details such as balance and payment information.
To get to the
DisneyBand+ information, click on that same “Already Booked” tab at the top of the main website and select the option labeled “DisneyBand+ & More” under the “My Account” section at the bottom of the drop-down menu. That should give you access to the DisneyBand+ Order page for your reservations, but fair warning that it still may not let you order them for all of the members of your party across multiple staterooms. Unfortunately, even if you connect both staterooms, the system may not provide the option to order DisneyBand+ for the members of your party who are staying in a different stateroom from you. If you run into that problem, then the easiest way to fix it is to get one of the occupants of the second stateroom to login and place the order under their account instead. Alternatively, since DisneyBand+ has the
same functionality as the
MagicBand+ used at some of the Disney theme parks, you can shop for bands for your entire party at the
official Disney Store online. Although the cruise designs are not available online, you will find 50+ other designs available for purchase that cost the same as the options offered for purchase through Disney Cruise Line directly. Finally, don't forget that DisneyBand+ will also be available for purchase once the shops onboard open on embarkation day.
I hope you will be able to get bands for your entire sailing party one way or another. If you have any other questions prior to setting sail in July, then we are always ready to help at planDisney. Happy sailing!
