I just booked the Star Wars dessert party. I've never been in the launch bay, how much time should I plan ahead of the dessert party to explore?

Dessert you shall have, Amber! The Star Wars Dessert Party is a fantastic way to celebrate your love of the Galaxy with desserts, souvenirs and a perfect, reserved spot to watch the fireworks unfold.

The Star Wars Launch Bay has a few things that you’ll want to see. Besides all the props, light sabers, helmets and vehicles, there are also character meet and greets. Try your bravery against Kylo Ren, get a furry hug from Chewbacca, or actually converse with BB-8. Each of these lines averages 20 minutes or so typically, but can be much longer. I usually allocate an hour to choose some characters to see, and view all the items on display. If you bring something small like a hairpin or a shiny plastic jewel, be sure to find the Jawas. They are a ton of fun to interact with and trade items with.

If you choose to visit with characters, be sure to purchase the Memory Maker entitlement so that all your memories can be downloaded for one low price. If I can answer any more questions about your Star Wars Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, please let me know. May the Force be with you! ~ Lindsey P.
