Hi Karen,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and hello to a fellow military family. Your stay at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be here before you know it – and I know just how excited you are because my family is visiting right around the same time as you are, and we are already counting down to the magic!
I’m so glad to hear you got your Exchange Certificates linked in My Disney Experience. From there, all you need to do is pack those certificates and your military ID – you’ll activate the tickets at any Walt Disney World
Guest Relations window by showing the certificates and your ID. The Cast Member assisting you will hand you your hard tickets and scan them onto your family’s MagicBands so you can use them seamlessly around the theme parks and at your resort. Karen, if you’ll be activating your tickets on the morning of your first theme park day, make sure you build in a little extra time to get that taken care of, as there can sometimes be a wait at Guest Relations, and I don’t want you to miss any park time.
As for your
MagicBands, when you log in to My Disney Experience, select the Magic Bands and Cards option. You should see an option to customize your MagicBands for your upcoming stay at Disney’s All Star Sports Resort. Once that’s taken care of, you’ll just need to select the colors and customize names for each member of your party. The MagicBands usually ship about a month before your vacation – it’s always a very big day in our house when they arrive!
Karen, a great big thank you for your family’s service. Happy Disney dreaming, and please come back and see us if you have any more questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
