I have booked standard room - 5th sleeper at port orleans riverside for next aug. We are 2 adults 2 teens age 15 then. I have seen a video which states that you can only have 5 people in these rooms, is this correct?

Hey there, Debra, and welcome back to planDisney!

A stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a great way to add some extra Southern charm to your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm glad you've asked about the room occupancy because while you're experiencing that charm, you'll also want to experience Southern comfort in your room. I'm happy to help!

The 5th sleeper rooms at this resort can accommodate up to 5 guests, including adults, teens, and little ones. You'll usually find 2 queen-size beds and a smaller Murphy-style bed that pulls down from the wall. Now, since you've mentioned having 2 teenagers, be aware that this Murphy bed is smaller than the other 2 beds in the room. So if you're planning on one of the teenagers sleeping there, they'd have to be on the tiny side.

Pro-tip: While you're going down the bayou at this resort, hop on the provided water transportation over to Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter and visit Scat Cat's Club -  Cafe. What's a trip down the bayou without a Mickey beignet!

Debra, I hope I've been able to help you today. I'm wishing you lots of beignets, riverside strolls, and a magical time. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat.

    Happy planning!
