Hola, Annemaria! Welcome to planDisney! I’m happy to help with your upcoming trip so you can rest easy.
All of the value and moderate Walt Disney World Resort hotels have exterior-facing doors and hallways. I’ve stayed at
Coronado Springs Resort, and I’m also a pretty light sleeper, and I’ve never found that the open-air layout has contributed to the noise levels. This is a large resort, and the majority of the rooms are away from the restaurants, pool, and other public areas, so it’s always seemed quiet in my experience. If you do encounter excessive noise during your stay, you can always contact a Cast Member at the front desk who will assist you.
You can request specific rooms 60 days in advance of your check-in day by checking in online, with the
My Disney Experience mobile app, or calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line. The availability of specific buildings, floors, or rooms will be partially determined by what type of room you’ve booked, so there’s no guarantee that a request can be fulfilled, but Cast Members will do their best to accommodate it.
If you do decide to keep your reservation at Coronado Springs, there are so many excellent amenities awaiting you.
The Lost City of Cibola Pool is one of the best resort pools at Walt Disney World, and
Toledo, at the top of the Gran Destino Tower, is a fantastic restaurant. You won't want to miss
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago, which is located in the center of the resort's lake and offers great views of Coronado Springs.
I hope this information is helpful, Annemaria. If you have any other questions or need any recommendations, don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
