We booked the standard Disney Dining Plan. There is the option of booking one seated meal a day. Dinner bookings would be best for sit down.Do we need to book all meals in advance? And breakfasts are those also quick service or buffet options on this plan?

Hello, Danna and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this most delicious question!

I’m thrilled to hear you’ll be participating in our Disney Dining Plan which will present you with great flexibility and choices of dining venues. Your Quick-Service meal entitlements are typically worth One (1) Meal Credit and can be redeemed at any participating Quick-Service restaurant for almost any meal of the day, including breakfast, where offered. Danna, you do not need to secure a dining reservation for most Quick-Service restaurants, unless it’s for breakfast or lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant (which is highly recommended for this popular venue).

Table-Service (sit down) meal entitlements may be redeemed for most meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner where, Advanced Dining Reservations are highly recommended, especially Disney Character Dining, redeeming either One (1) or Two (2) Table-Service Meal Credits.

I encourage you to make Advanced Dining Reservations for any participating Table-Service restaurant to avoid any disappointment on your vacation. Our pre-paid Disney Dining Plans are hugely popular, thus creating high demand for participating restaurants as far out as 180 days before a scheduled arrival.

We hope this information is helpful, Danna and we wish you many delicious Disney dishes!
