Just booked 1st solo trip. Excited and nervous. I won't have a car this trip. Can you order takeout at Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe? I don't want to sit alone at restaurant. I would love to have a steak my first night in the World. Thanks!

    Hi Stacy!

A solo trip is a lot of fun.  It will give you a chance to do those things that you really want to do and on your schedule!  Enjoy it and have fun!

I've never done carry out at either the Rainforest Cafe or Planet Hollywood, but I called both restaurants in Downtown Disney, and you can do carry out at both of them!

That said, you shouldn't feel strange to sit alone in a Disney restaurant.  I see it all of the time and have done it many times myself.  Besides sitting at a table, you can also sit at the bar if the restaurant has one and order off of the menu; you might feel more comfortable doing that.  I love eating at the bar at the Tune In Lounge in Disney's Hollywood Studios and at the bar in Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  At Epcot, there are a lot of great options as well, though there are also a lot of great Quick Service locations as well.

Enjoy planning your solo trip and write back if you have any more questions!
