Hi Paul, welcome to planDisney!
I see you are arriving at Walt Disney World Resort soon! You’ll definitely need your theme park ticket situation sorted out before you arrive, so let’s talk about what you should do next.
Since the tickets are in your account and you have set up
Disney MagicMobile Service for each of the tickets, you will need to reassign your son’s ticket to his new account. If you haven’t already, you should add your son’s account to your Family & Friends List. Log in to your
My Disney Experience mobile app and click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of the app. Scroll down to “My Profile” and click “Family & Friends List” at the top of the page. Scroll down to “+ Add a Guest” and select “I’ll enter their name and age.” Enter the required information and choose “Share Planning with this Guest.” You will be prompted to enter your son’s email address associated with his My Disney Experience account.
Your son will receive an email inviting him to share plans with you, and once he accepts, the account you previously managed and his new personal My Disney Experience account should merge. This should not alter any previously confirmed plans.
After you are linked through Family & Friends, you will need to go to the “Tickets and Passes” section on your My Disney Experience mobile app, find the ticket you want to link to his account and select “Reassign Ticket.” Your son can now create his own Disney MagicMobile Service pass and choose to share it with you if you’d like to have all the passes in your digital wallet.
I hope this was helpful, Paul. If you have any issues, please call the number listed under “
Technical and Website Support,” or if you’re already in Walt Disney World Resort, visit a
Guest Relations window.
Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World, Paul.
I’ll be here at planDisney if you have any future questions!
