Hi!! We are booked for September 2004 and we have a Disney+ subscription, the resort reservations are in my name, and the subscription is in my husbands name... would we still qualify for the "free" dining plan?

Hi Heather! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question! The Disney+ offer for free dining is too delicious to pass up; my family just took advantage of this offer also! We are looking forward to worrying about what snacks we want and what dining reservations we are going to make knowing we won't have to worry about paying a bill after each meal! More time to focus on making magic and memories with prepaid dining has always been one of my favorite things about the dining plans at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Heather, I have great news for you! Even though your current reservation was made under your name, as long as a Disney+ subscriber is staying in the room, you do still qualify to take advantage of this special offer! To make this change, be sure your husband is linked to your current reservation as a guest in your travel party under his My Disney Experience account. You will need to book the offer under his account since he is the Disney+ subscriber.

To make the adjustment, have your husband log into his My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans". Then scroll down to My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets where he should see the reservation you made. From here, there should be a "Change Reservation" option he can select; on the next screen, he will see all of the options including one for "Vacation Offer". By selecting edit, he should have the option to add the special offer for Disney+ subscribers. From here, follow the prompts to complete the checkout process, and you should see the new offer applied to your existing reservation.

If at any time, this process does not work, you can also contact the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations number to speak with a Cast Member for assistance.

With an arrival date of September 8, remember that you can make Advance Dining Reservations starting 60 days ahead of your check-in date for the entire length of your stay! That date for your reservation will be July 10, but it's never too early to start deciding where you will use the dining credits you will receive as part of this offer! Also remember that you can still take advantage of Mobile Ordering while using the dining plans - this time-saving trick will help you to grab meals faster so you can move between parks and attractions with less time standing in line!

I hope this has been helpful and that you are able to enjoy some delicious dining options with your family on your upcoming visit! If you have any more vacation planning questions, don't hesitate to come back and be our guest again here at planDisney!

    Bon Appetit,
    Alison
