Hi Terri, welcome back to planDisney!
You are just a couple of short weeks away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please make sure each member of your party over the age of three has
valid admission and a
theme park reservation for each park day. A
method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) is also required for theme park entry. Now onto the magical business at hand.
It sounds like you are currently managing the My Disney Experience profiles of everyone in your party under your account, Terri. I completely support other members of your party having My Disney Experience accounts. In my experience, teamwork makes the Disney dream work. Here are your next steps:
1. Ask the members of your party that wish to create their own
My Disney Experience accounts to do so. This must happen before you can transfer the vacation entitlements housed under your account.
2. On your
Family and Friends list, click "Update" next to the name of an individual with a newly created My Disney Experience account.
3. In the upper right of the Update Information box, click "Share planning with [person's first name]," enter the email address associated with that person's My Disney Experience account, and click "Continue."
4. Have your party member check their email for a message from Disney Destinations with the subject line "You have a Family and Friends invitation to join in on Walt Disney World vacation planning."
Once a person clicks "Accept" in their email invitation, all plans you've made for them should automagically be transferred to their new account. You will remain connected as Family and Friends, which means you can continue making plans for them and they can now make plans for you. If you run into any problems, a friendly Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands number would be happy to assist you.
The planDisney team is also here to answer any questions that pop up these next few weeks. Teamwork really does make the Disney dream work!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
