Hiya, Anne!
Welcome to planDisney. I am so very sorry to hear that you had to cancel your
Savor the Savanna tour at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I am sure that was an incredibly difficult decision to make. This tour is on my Disney bucket list, so I can understand how excited you and your travel party may have been feeling about this upcoming event.
Refunds are processed in about 7-10 business days and will be returned to the original payment method. If you do not see a refund issued after this amount of time, or you no longer have access to the original card with which the tour was booked, I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with
Tours and Recreation. They will be able to assist you with any refunds that were not issued after the ten-day period of time.
Anne, I hope that you are still planning on arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in June and that the tour cancellation is because your itinerary plans have changed. If this is the case, you will still be able to enjoy so much savanna fun on
Kilimanjaro Safaris. You will be pleasantly surprised at how many magnificent creatures you will see, and they may be closer than you think. This safari may not serve the same yummy eats as the tour, but you absolutely will not go hungry at Animal Kingdom. Whether you are looking for delicious snacks or a wonderful table service meal, this is one of my favorite parks for dining. My favorite snacks can be found at Mr. Kamal's. The seasoned fries are unbelievable. I know it may sound silly, after all, we're talking about french fries. But trust me on this one! The chicken dumplings are pretty great too! If sitting down with the whole family and taking your time is more your style,
Tusker House Restaurant is a great option. And you can meet Mickey and the gang in their fabulous safari gear! Feast on a variety of all you care to enjoy entrees while getting hugs from your favorite pal. Don't forget the autograph books!
We hope to see ya real soon!
Tammy
