Ahoy, there, Julia! Thanks for coming back to planDisney with another question.
I'm so excited to hear that you'll be celebrating the holiday season early aboard the
Disney Magic! Don't miss
all the extra Christmas-themed pixie dust during your voyage like the tree lighting and of course, Mickey and Minnie dolled up in their holiday finest!
Now, Julia, speaking of wearing your finest,
let's talk about attire. From your question, it sounds like you're a lot like me when preparing for a cruise. I like to know exactly what themed nights we'll be enjoying so I can plan my family's outfits in advance. First, I'll encourage you to make sure have the most up-to-date version of the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App so that you can check and confirm the theme nights when you embark on your cruise.
Nights are subject to change, but you can expect 4 Casual Nights (typically the first and last night of your sailing plus 2 additional), 1 semi-formal night, 1 formal night (typically the second night), and 1 Pirate Night (typically the fourth night). Beyond the theme nights, you'll have photographers out and about on the semi-formal and formal evenings for portraits if you choose. You'll also want to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for any additional entertainment. For example, on
Pirate Night, make sure to note the time of the party up on deck!
Julia, I hope this helps as you're thinking ahead to November. I'll be wishing on a star that you have a MAGICal vacation with Captain Mickey. Please come on back with any additional questions.
Lauren
