Hiya Kerry! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking this great question. I'm happy to help!
Having vacationed at the Walt Disney World Resort with our multi-generational family, I can say that it's important for everyone to get to do what they want! While it can be nice to book a vacation package, you are correct that everyone listed on the reservation would have to commit to buying
theme park tickets for the same number of days to visit the theme parks. For this reason, you will want to make a room-only reservation and purchase theme park tickets separately. If by chance you have already purchased the vacation package, you will want to cancel this and start from scratch, provided you are still within your cancellation window to receive a refund. You can review the Walt Disney Travel Company Terms and Conditions related to vacation packages
here.
If you decide to start over with your reservations, I would suggest that you first confirm that there are
theme park reservations available at each of the theme parks you want to visit on the dates you plan to visit. If so, I would first purchase the theme park tickets and make your theme park reservations. Then, you can proceed with making your room-only reservation at
Disney's Beach Club Resort.
I hope this information helps with your planning and provides a solution that makes everyone happy at
The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have more questions, please visit us again at

Happy Planning!
