Sarah Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have booked my room and park ticket package online. Can I upgrade if I want to online say to a moderate resort?

Hey there, Sarah! Thanks for stopping by with your questions.

If you have booked your Vacation Package yourself directly through Walt Disney World, you can easily modify your plans yourself up to 30 days before your arrival. If you booked with a third party such as a Travel Agent, you need to contact them to make any changes on your behalf. To make the changes yourself, simply log into your My Disney Experience account once you have your Vacation Package successfully linked. Under "My Plans," navigate to your check-in date to find your Resort Hotel information. There will be a box to the right of the page for you to click on that will say "Change Reservation." Anything you can change yourself will have a blue link with the word "change." You can typically change things such as dates, room type, and resort choice. You can also use this section to look for any Special Offers that may apply. If you cannot make the modifications yourself, there will be a phone number displayed you may call for assistance.

Sarah, we would love to help with any other questions you may have while planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Please visit us again here at planDisney; we would love to help!

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
